I have come to realise after a discussion with a brother that I do not have the time, energy and, especially, the expertise to do extensive research on certain articles on this blog. I am not an authority on any of the subject matter that I have published here. I have only endeavoured to take material from those who have done research on these topics. If you do not agree with something on this blog that is fine with me; my purpose is not to push something down your throat, but to let you know of a certain position which I am inclined towards.
I would like to apologise if there is certain material on this website which is incorrect, and I would urge others to do further research in their own time. One thing I have come to understand is that there is lot of good material and also a lot of junk on the internet. The best option is to go back to the Scholars who have spent most part of their lives in their field of expertise.
But something good did come out of the discussion. Four articles on this blog were written because of it:
- The Issue of Slavery
- The Reality of Jizyah
- The Future is Islam
- Did Prophet (peace be upon him) Massacred the Jews?
In addition, I got the idea to add video links at the end of the articles after the discussion. All praise is due to Allah, and because of Allah's bounty all this came about.
I cannot help but recite the verse of the Quran again and again in my mind:
"And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners." [Al-Quran 3:54]
